Relationship Harmony + Living in Community — Full Moon in Libra
Greetings from Oregon!
It’s been a nourishing first seven days since arriving in this new landscape. After traveling 1,050 miles, I’ve landed in a place of deep green abundance - rolling farms, dense forests, and warm faces. The Applegate Valley, my new home, and the seven women I now share a roof with, my new family.
This Libra Full Moon arrives in perfect synchrony with my transition into communal living. These first days have been devoted to truly seeing one another, learning each other’s communication styles, preferences, lived experiences, and sensitivities. It’s a living reminder that harmony within relationships is something we actively cultivate, it doesn’t arise on its own.
Sharing a home with seven other souls calls for a refinement of relational skills - attuned listening, thoughtful expression, and the willingness to meet one another with openness. It’s also an invitation to reflect on reciprocity: how we balance giving and receiving, how we honor both collective needs and personal boundaries, and how we define what truly matters to us.
There is a quiet art to creating a shared space that feels cohesive yet spacious - where individuality is honored without abandoning one’s own priorities. And while relationships sometimes ask us to soften or expand, there is something deeply fulfilling about offering ourselves in service to others. Preparing a meal, steeping a cup of tea, tending to small acts of care - gestures that become the threads strengthening the fabric of connection.
One of the most enriching aspects of this emerging sisterhood is the interweaving of diverse wisdom. Each woman brings her own lens, her own medicine. Through sharing, teaching, supporting, and growing together, we begin to co-create something greater than the sum of its parts - a kind of living harmony.
Relationships often illuminate the hidden layers of our inner world. They can surface old patterns, challenge the ego, and invite us into deeper self-awareness. In this way, they become powerful containers for growth, encouraging us to soften, to center within ourselves, and to move with greater compassion and sincerity.
